BookCanmore™ is a local and family-owned business in the Bow valley providing vacation rental accommodations since 2014
It all started when we purchased a short-term vacation rental. BookCanmore™ was incorporated in 2016 simply out of necessity, as the vacation rental business was virtually unknown at the time. We identified an opportunity in this lovely little mountain town simply because we were property owners and could not find anyone to housekeep or manage our property. So, we decided to manage it ourselves, our tourists took notice, and upon falling in love with Canmore and purchasing their properties, they asked us to manage theirs as they loved what we did with ours. The rest is history!
We aim to be all things Canmore. If you are looking for accommodations, experiences or returns on your investment we aim to excel in all those areas being the leader in our community to provide these services. Having been operating for nearly 10 years we have in depth experience in the bow valley. During our near 10 years in business, we have been through various market cycles so our ability to provide expert knowledge and data of Canmore real estate is highly valuable. In addition, we are locals to the community and are partnered with various local businesses.
With a strong core team of hardworking clean freaks / mountain lovers we strive to make every guest stay as clean & comfortable. With the help of our maintenance team and occasional help from our local small business trades our condos are well maintained and ready for great stays.
Graduated in 2020 with a Bachelor of Commerce degree with Management and Marketing background. Deonte was on a Basketball Scholarship in University when he started to work part time with his Aunty Sandra, who started BookCanmore™. Deonte is a Two-time recipient of an Academic All-Canadian Award. During his university career he worked with BookCanmore™ on a part time basis since 2017 then full time after graduation.
Deonte is responsible for business planning, guest / owner communication, invoicing, managing staff among other duties. Since graduating he has continued his Education building upon his business knowledge in the following areas:
Continuous learning via the Tony Robbins Institute.
Property Management Certification.
Real Estate licensing to trade real estate.
Lead Project Manager in capital acquisition for a $50-million-dollar facility for the city of Edmonton.
Volunteer - Edmonton Food Bank, various fundraising team initiatives.

Deonte enjoys building profitable returns for property owners and providing high quality service to all guests who visit Canmore and surrounding area. Deonte shares a passion for travel and has travelled extensively to places such as: Europe, Dubai, Thailand, Indonesia, Caribbean as well as around Canada & Hawaii and the USA. He can usually be found playing or coaching basketball, snowboarding or always working!
With a wide range of experience from hospitality and tourism through different cultures coupled with strong customer service experience, we are lucky to have Tereza as part of our amazing team.
Tereza is happy to greet international guests of different needs and requirements. She has a strong passion for travel and has traveled and worked in many parts of the world. She is an avid snowboarder, hiker and has a new found love for SUP. Tereza is on a mountain adventure every chance she gets!
BookCanmore™, incorporated in 2014, started as a Vacation Rental business long before vacation rentals became popular. Sandra and her husband moved to Canmore in 2012, they identified an opportunity in this lovely mountain town and decided to form a company offering short term vacations. Having bought and sold multiple times over the last 10 years in the Bow Valley, Sandra has an in-depth knowledge of real estate investing and most recently sold a multi-million-dollar Wilderness Resort on the Sunshine Coast which she and her partners operated for a couple of years prior to selling to one of the largest telecommunications companies in Canada.
Prior to BookCanmore™, she had a long 17-year career in IT, as an International Transition & Project Manager. After leaving IT, she focused on real estate, first becoming a Mortgage Advisor for CIBC to learn about mortgage options, then continued education taking courses such as Master Investor, Real Estate Lease Option / Rent to Own, Wholesale Buying, Commercial Real Estate with Rich Dad Education as well multiple courses with the Tony Robbins Foundation including Business & Wealth Mastery and Leadership Academy.
Sandra’s past & present volunteer experience includes:
Wildlife Ambassadors for Wild Smart,
Board of Directors with Canmore Community Housing Corporation.
Treasurer with Canmore Place properties for approximately 3 years.
Having traveled & worked in over 30 countries she understands what it means to be a traveller & a guest. The passion for travel has been the motivation to provide the highest level of quality to guests visiting out Rocky Mountains. Coupled with a solid understanding of Real Estate and cash flow options she understands what it means to investors looking to be profitable in real estate. In 2017, her nephew, Deonte, joined BookCanmore™, and together they have formed a strong partnership. Sandra can usually be spotted hiking around rockies, snowboarding but her most favourite local adventure is Heli Tours with Alpine Helicopters!
