5. Tunnel Mountain - 2.3km. 300m elevation gain to a 360 views of Banff townsite, the Bow & Spray river valleys, the Banff Springs Golf Course and surrounding peaks. 

4. Grassi Lakes - The ever popular Grassi Lakes has it all, right in Canmore, hike 4km to see everything from: views of Canmore, waterfall*, Turquoise colored lakes, Pictograms and rock climbers!   *the trail splits into "Easy" and more "Difficult" take the difficult trail to see the waterfall, its well worth it and not difficult!

3. Troll Falls - by Nakiska Ski Hill in Kananaskis Country you will find easy 3km walk thru the Alpine trees to get to a beautiful waterfall. 

2. Stoney Squaw Trail - 2.1km one-way and 610ft elevation gain, this is a little more effort but well worth the hike.  The view is spectacular of Mt. Rundle, Banff Town, and Cascade Mountain. 

1. Lake Louise & Moraine Lake - Glacier fed, always spectacular Lake Louise and Moraine Lake are a must see ... especially now during the Lake Louise WonderFall Festival.  Walk around the lakes or go further and select many surrounding hikes.
